Contact us

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has trained generations of leaders in pediatric medicine. Our Pediatrics Residency Program is a three-year program, accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education and leading to certification in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. We believe that well-trained pediatricians are cultivated gradually. At the heart of our program is a focus on developing well-rounded physicians who embrace our core values: integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

Why choose CHOP?

Our Pediatrics Residency Program is the keystone of our educational programs and patient care system. Residents are central to the mission of our Care Network, a network of more than 50 pediatric and adolescent primary and specialty care practices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
