Fetal Surgery for Spina Bifida Publications

Staff of the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment have written extensively about fetal surgery for spina bifida. These articles in peer-reviewed publications show the long legacy of CHOP research into fetal surgery for spina bifida as well as our team's contributions to the new treatments available to patients with myelomeningocele, the most severe form of spina bifida.

Establishing fetal surgery for spina bifida as a standard of care

This study in the New England of Journal of Medicine outlines the results of the MOMS (Management of Myelomeningocele) Study and establishes fetal surgery for spina bifida as a new standard of care.
