Cheers for CHOP Presented by BAYADA Raises $650,000 for Children’s Fund

NBC Philadelphia’s Erin Coleman served as the emcee for Cheers for CHOP. Earlier this month, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) hosted Cheers for CHOP presented by BAYADA at The Fillmore to benefit our Children’s Fund.

The evening brought together the area’s most notable influencers for a night of philanthropy and fun.The 10th annual event, which included live music, cocktails, dancing, and a one-of-a-kind silent auction,raised more than $650,000 for the Children’s Fund, a flexible resource used wherever the hospital’s need is greatest.

Co-chairs of Cheers for CHOP: David Baiada, Mindy Baiada, Alexandra Morgan and Jonathan Morgan Whether it’s to ease the financial burden on patient families, fast track a research discovery or provide healthcare resources to members of the Philadelphia community and beyond, the Children’s Fund enables thecritical work CHOP does to improve children’s lives and closes the gap between resources and breakthroughs.

The Children’s Fund allows CHOP to infuse immediate resources into urgent initiatives, touching every area of the hospital and countless members of the CHOP community.

This year marked the 10th Cheers for CHOP and the event has supported various departments at CHOP including Child Life, Pulmonary Medicine, Orthopaedics, Center for Violence Prevention and Behavioral and Mental Health Services.
