BIG 98.1 Loves Our Kids Radiothon Raises More Than $245,000 for CHOP’s Child Life Services Department Last week, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in partnership with Audacy Philadelphia, raised more than $245,000 for our Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy Department at the 22nd annual BIG 98.1 Loves Our Kids Radiothon.

The BIG 98.1 Loves Our Kids Radiothon was broadcast live from Audacy corporate headquarters in Philadelphia on December 7 and 8. The event was hosted by morning show host, Coop, alongside an array of co-hosts, including talent from sister stations at B101 (WBEB-FM), 96.5 TDY (WTDY-FM), Sports Radio 94WIP (WIP-FM), KYW Newsradio (103.9 FM / 1060 AM) and Talk Radio 1210 WPHT (WPHT-AM).

“The Radiothon is a special event for CHOP to support our Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy team who helps our patients remain strong, positive and courageous,” said Elana Brewer, Senior Director, Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy, CHOP. “Our Child Life services provide invaluable care and support to CHOP families, helping them cope with difficult diagnoses, challenges or injuries, scary procedures, treatment, hospitalization and the overall healthcare experience.
