Post-surgical Motility Disorders
Chronic post-surgical motility disorders can be associated with the following conditions.
- Cholecystectomy
- Congenital diaphragmatic hernia
- Fundoplication (anti-reflux surgery): post-op retching, feeding difficulties
- Gastroschisis
- Hirschsprung's disease: post-op constipation, fecal incontinence
- Imperforate anus: post-op constipation, fecal incontinence
- Intestinal malrotation
- Myelodysplasia (spina bifida)
- Omphalocele
- Short bowel syndrome
- Tracheo-esophageal fistula
