The Sleep Center at CHOP diagnoses and treats children with any type of sleep disorder, including apnea of infancy, behavioral problems, sleep walking, night terrors and narcolepsy. Each Sleep Center houses a Sleep Laboratory, which is a state of the art facility for overnight sleep studies.
It is not unusual for children to occasionally have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. But in some cases, children have more serious sleep disorders that may require treatment. CHOP's Sleep Center cares for children with a wide variety of sleep disorders, including sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, apnea of infancy, behavior problems impacting sleep, circadian rhythm disorders, movement disorders, and more.
