The mission of the Office of Government Affairs, Community Relations and Advocacy is to support The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in its goals of excellent patient care, innovative research and quality professional education. We accomplish this through public advocacy, community partnering, and by fostering relationships with organizations and officials.
In the Community
The Office of Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy provides a community perspective to Hospital projects, programs and policies, and represents the Hospital at community meetings, events and other functions.
On the Hill
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Government Affairs team supports the efforts of our clinicians, staff and leadership to educate public officials and influence public policy on issues impacting CHOP and our patients at the local, state and federal levels of government.
